About education
I'll explain education because in Malaysia we are so lucky that the government offer us free education and it's compulsory for all citizens to finish their studies till the age of 17. We can go to schools called SJK (Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan) and also colleges (IPG). We can also go to vocational school (SMK) if we're not good at studies. For me, I'm not good at studies so I'm going to vocational school to get a certificate in cooking and accounting. If we finish our studies, we can go to college or university to get bachelor's degree (called Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or SPM for short) and if we have more time, we can get master's degree or PhD (Pengetahuan Alam). Education is very important for everyone because it will help us to know more about our world and what's happening around us. It will also help us to be a better person in the future.
